Catamaran powerboat
Description:
Saleat, our Catamaran Powerboat, serves as a stable, multi-purpose marine platform optimized for coastal and nearshore research, monitoring, and fieldwork. With a length overall of 9.2m and a 3.15m beam, the vessel’s catamaran hull provides exceptional stability, which is critical for sensitive data acquisition and equipment operation. It features a substantial 2x4m clear working cockpit, 95% shaded, facilitating the deployment and retrieval of sampling gear. Operational capacity supports up to 15 personnel for short transits and 6 personnel for extended missions up to 10 Nm offshore. The vessel is comprehensively equipped with essential navigation and surveying instrumentation, including GPS, VHF, and an Ecosounder/Sidescan system. Crucially, the platform includes a Davit (Max load 250Kg), a 100Kg hydraulic power winch, and an onboard 220V power supply to run specialized equipment, alongside a dedicated multipurpose bracket for external transducers and sensors, ensuring adaptability for complex oceanographic, biological, and geological experiments.
