Background:

Nadav has started her Ph.D. with Professor Dani Tchernov, and Dr Danny Morick as part of the Marine Pathology Laboratory at the station. Nadav is a Veterinarian specialized in fish medicine working with aquatic animals at the Israeli Veterinary Services and Animal Health within the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Current Research:

In his Ph.D. work, he aims to reveal the emergence of a novel nontuberculous mycobacteria, Mycobacterium pseudoshottsii, and its endemic close relative, Mycobacterium marinum in Israeli aquaculture; focusing on molecular characterization, pathogenesis, antimicrobial resistance and host immune response
